We are thrilled to announce our partnership with DICE Australia, a First Nations-owned NT organisation, to launch Mira – our innovative injury management platform. This implementation will first support DICE’s workforce recovery journeys, marking a significant step in revolutionising how the organisation cares for its employees’ health and wellbeing.
Ray Pratt, Founder and Director of DICE, is deeply passionate about community health and wellbeing, and expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming rollout: “We are excited to integrate Mira into our operations. This system will not only streamline injury management but also enhance our ability to support our workers’ recovery and wellbeing.”
As a Darwin-based company, DICE Australia has consistently demonstrated its dedication to supporting remote workers and the local community. The implementation of Mira for their workforce aligns perfectly with this commitment, particularly in improving health outcomes for those working in remote and regional areas.
Through advanced technology and centralised case management, Mira addresses the critical need for better workplace health and safety, following Safe Work Australia’s guidelines. The platform serves as an engagement tool that helps businesses fulfil their duty of care to recovering employees by streamlining and centralising injury and illness reporting and management.
According to Safe Work Australia, work-related psychological injuries typically require longer recovery times and result in higher costs. Mira’s comprehensive approach helps manage these challenges while reducing staff turnover and absenteeism, ultimately enhancing organizational performance and productivity.
Developed and supported by our IT partner Asta, Mira provides access to a professional care network, including mental health therapists, breaking down silos in care management by including relevant stakeholders in an individual’s recovery journey. The platform’s versatility extends beyond workplace applications, having proven successful in various environments, including community sports settings.
As part of the Swisstec Group, we’re excited to see how this partnership will pave the way for better workplace health and safety practices, starting with DICE’s workforce and potentially extending to other organizations across the Northern Territory.
